Hi :) I’m Salma. A UI/UX designer and front-end developer whose most brilliant ideas emerge at 2 - 5 am.
My skills are deeply rooted in UI/UX, with a primary focus on UI design. I believe user research is at the core of any great design, and channelling that research into an informed UI is truly what sets a good design from a stellar one.
I recently got into Front-end development and am most familiar with HTML, CSS, a touch of Javascript and a sprinkle of Next.js. When I’m not trying to hunt down that one typo in my Javascript file, you’ll most likely find me in a corner looking up how to centre a div…again..
Illustration has long been a hobby of mine, and I’ve been refining my skills over the course of my study by integrating illustration into some of my UI/UX work. While I mostly work digitally, traditional pencil-on-paper has always been my go-to method for quick ideation
When I’m not illustrating, designing or coding, I’m most likely playing with my cats, reading a webtoon, watching an anime, or drinking copious amounts of cold brew to keep me buzzing. Usually, I'm doing all 4 at once.
